If you were on the lookout for The Weekly Spark on Monday at 6:55 AM like any other week, you likely noticed that one did not come through. Unfortunately, I was having a technical difficulty with my platform which required one business day to remedy, so hence the day delay. This week, I had already planned to send a bit of a shorter reflection about the poem “The Road Not Taken” by Robert Frost. This poem has always spoken to me, so I’m sharing it and a brief reflection below:
This is a good reminder that taking the road less traveled is never easy, but often worth it. Frost delivers a powerful message on the subject with lots of food for thought. As you approach more diverging roads (decisions), whether big or small, when could you benefit from taking the road less traveled by? As you read through this poem, what speaks to you?

Video of the Week: TED Talk with Meg Jay- Why 30 is not the new 20
This was an interesting TED Talk. She discusses how the 20s are the simplest, yet most transformative 10 years of life, including how important it is to lay the proper foundation personally, professionally, and socially for the remainder of life. This video provides value for everyone, 20s or not, as she discusses the important concept of identity capital. Identity capital is doing things that add value to who you are and who you want to be next; it is formed by experiences that make you you, and make you unique. Identity capital contributes to making you an interesting person. How can you create identity capital this week?
Quote of the Week:
”Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” - Robert Frost
I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed writing. As always, I welcome any thoughts, comments, or feedback.
